On Friday, I had a wonderful experience speaking in front of a group of 400 students at Reed School in Marin County.
As I stood on stage, seeing the faces of all the young girls looking at me as the only female veteran in a military appreciation assembly, I felt empowered to share that throughout life, you will be tested and pushed to your limits. But believing in yourself and staying determined is when you will discover your inner strength.
It was such a special moment to share our insights with such a bright, smiling audience. Thank you to the staff at Reed School for putting this on! Hearing them sing for us in appreciation was very heartwarming!
